Traffic Monday — was it bad for you?

I left work at 4pm (I start early) traveling from Nationals Park to Arlington. 395 was an abomination. Google Maps directed to leave the freeway and drive surface streets to Constitution and I66.

Was there an accident? Or is this the new reality of back to office and no one wants to metro???

Longterm repair work on the TR bridge and its ripple effects. Scheduled to take 2 years?

Somewhat.

But it was due to people going slow in the left lane on GW parkway. Dammit people, stop going slow on ANY multi lane road, not just highways.

"Going slow" meaning not speeding as fast as you'd prefer , I'm guessing.

Yes, of course. It's all relative - "slower traffic keep right" - have you truly never heard this phrase? And if you are impeding the flow of the road by going slow in the left lane, that makes *you* the unsafe driver.
