I've seen a few reports that allege Lucky Charms is making people sick but there hasn't been a recall.
Anyone here gotten sick? I'm trying to decide if I should throw our supply out. https://www.nytimes.com/2022/04/18/business/lucky-charms-fda-investigation-illness.html |
| Easy to avoid. Don’t buy that crap in the first place. |
| Based on what I've read, this seems like an easy call? |
| Gawd, eating any Lucky Charms, even un-tainted ones, would make me ill |
| Who eats Lucky Charms!!! |
| They look so cute, why can't they be made with non-gross stuff. All organic, real cane sugar (but half the regular amount), natural colorants, that kind of thing. |
| But they're magically delicious! |
| I buy it (and Froot Loops) for my kids occasionally as a treat. They had some this weekend and have been fine. They did have a couple of bouts of unexplained vomiting earlier this year but I can't say whether or not the vomiting occurred when they ate the cereal. |
Cost and shelf life. |
| Post COVID, this triggers Type 2 diabetes spontaneously. I only half jest. |
Calm down, Susan. I do!!!!!! Because they are f-ing delicious. |
| The first sign of illness was purchasing them to begin with. |
Oh the horrors!!!!!! |
|
I could go for a giant bowl of Lucky charms right now. The marshmallow and milk combination just takes me back to my childhood.
|
| Hands off me Lucky Charms |
