One does not have anything to do with the other. Most people go into White House jobs with the idea it is 2-3 years max. It is very intense to work there.

IOW, if there were anyting to do with a criminal investigation, then Biden would be hiring outside counsel. Contrary to popular belief or at least of the previous Administration, the White House attorney is there to represent the White House, not the president as an individual.

The “politically motivated actions” referenced by Pozharskyi were actually ongoing investigations into Burisma and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, who had been issued an unusually large number of permits in Ukraine to extract oil and gas during his time as minister of natural resources.

In April 2014, the same month that Hunter Biden joined Burisma, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office opened an investigation into the company.

This was the investigation (along w/parallel UK investigation) that would later be terminated via the $7mm bribe paid by Zlochevsky.

Not only did he evade paying taxes by not even filing, he also lied repeatedly on his taxes claiming things like hotel rooms for prostitutes and prostitutes themselves as deductions.
And, because Weiss slow walked this whole investigation, he will not be held liable for hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxes.
And, we still have Dark Brandon telling people to "pay their fair share." Sure. Let's start with his own family.

At the end of the day, the taxes were paid, with penalty and interest. Please show me a similar case (not the Baltimore guy, not the same) where the taxes, penalties and interest were paid, and the subject was still prosecuted.
