I love the cast. If you’ve read the book you’d see how Masha and Jessica are perfectly cast.

Not sure about NK, but do think the rest of the cast is excellent. Not a false note.

+1

I agree the rest of the cast is great. I think the actress who plays Jessica does a great job as does Regina Hall. But NK is awful and distracting in this role. I cannot stop thinking it’s just Nicole Kidman using a terrible accent. And making her eyes open wide and not blink to express emotion.

Are Larry and Balki in this?

I just caught up and that white eye scene, I’m not sure how I am going to sleep tonight.

NK’s submission for Emmy consideration will come from the final episode (she’ll get a nom but won’t win).

Awful ending. Pure drek.

I feel like the book was Moriarty's most mediocre, but the changes they made to make the book MORE crazy than it already was were not good. I feel like many of the performances were great (in particular Melissa McCarthy and the footballer and the Marconi family) but overall what could have been a really entertaining romp became a little (a lot?!) overwrought.

It's funny because the lottery couple I thought was one of the most compelling book stories and has been weirdly one note in the show.

Regina Hall should get an award. She is legit looking and acting crazy

Well that was disappointing. I haven't read the book yet (will start it now that I'm done with the show) but the author was definitely tripping when she wrote this, right? It started out with so much potential, some really interesting characters and so much left out when trying to develop them.

Okay. Well that’s the whole thing...

I guess I’m disappointed but I really didn’t have high hopes. Nothing surprising (except Carmel being the shooter).

I don’t understand why to Yao apologized to Delilah and left to do something with her if everyone was healed and cured?
Also is Masha going to spend the rest of her life hallucinating her daughter?

What did Nicole Kim and whisper in Melissa McCarthy’s ear at the end

I don't remember her doing that, but presumably it was something about her turning it all into a book.

No. It was something like, never up never in. Something frances' father used to say to her when she was young..

I don't understand the end when she's with her daughter. She's driving that car on drugs hallucinating that she's with her?

I thought the last 2 episodes were bonkers in the best way.

I thought this was better than White Lotus, but I know I’m in the minority. Too many loose plot ends and ultimately depressing
