Then walk on the snow. I'm sure there are plenty of footsteps to follow.

Are you sure based on trying it, or because you're making assumptions? Because the "snow" has been so hard that a 200 lb man can't make a footprint since about Wednesday.

Have you been trapped in your home since Wednesday? Do you know anyone who has?

There is no way my kids can do the almost two mile walk safely and they cannot get to the closest bust stop which isn’t that close. They leave before 7 and the snow and ice are a huge issue. Few sidewalks so walking when people are heavily driving. We only have one decent car.

Drive or walk with them.

Some people actually have jobs. We can't all be day drinking stay at home moms

uhh... is this a joke?

A stay at home mom is just someone who failed at being useful enough to get paid to do anything worthwhile.

I really can't tell what point you're making here... surely you don't think kids should have to miss school, and their parents miss work, simply because your high schooler is incapable of walking to school, and you're unwilling to come up with alternative transportation, right?

Something tells me that you’re a crappy person and probably bad at your job.

Have you been trapped for a week? Have you gone anywhere? How did you get there?

Taking care of children is not a useful profession? You pay your day care provider $3 an hour?

This thread is for which schools are not plowed.

Go start another thread to bicker about all the other useless crap about a working mom vs SAHM

Sad that you never made it out of your mom’s basement?

It’s Sunday 2/1 morning and I’m trying to get intel about the state of facilities around the county. I don’t believe there’s an official source of information available so I’d like to crowdsource as best as possible.
