everything titled in our separate names remains separate property and everything titled jointly (hardly anything) is marital

This sounds like criminal fraud. I’m surprised attorneys are engaging in this line of litigation with the possibility of incarceration. Fraud in the millions is a crime with jail time.

Is the postnuptial truly fake? Did you sign it? If not he’s gambling with his freedom.

A lot of what OP has posted doesn’t make sense.

Never seen it, never talked about it and never signed it. Not notarized and not represented by counsel. He said everything was “verbal”

You don’t have a lawyer?

The attorneys are obviously making money on both sides and wouldn’t have any problem litigating if it makes them $$$

At some point though, I think a smart attorney can see through their client’s BS and push them to settle etc though I don’t know is your husband’s attorney is telling him to settle

Several people have asked you what your lawyer has said about the financials.

I would like to know why you always create a new post instead of replying directly to a question or comment.

OP?

The divorce bar have SO many causes of action in VA. It’s the best place to be a lawyer of you liked moot court in law school! Or even if you were in the lowest 10 percent of your class — you’ll still make money off of distressed parents. It a called kids for cash in Va.

Several divorce-related bills have failed to pass in Virginia, including measures to eliminate the waiting period for fault-based divorces and a bill to remove post-separation adultery as a ground for divorce.

In 2023, a bill to eliminate the divorce waiting period for cruelty, desertion, or abandonment failed, and in 2025, the General Assembly vetoed bills that would have allowed a no-fault divorce from bed and board and removed post-separation adultery as a ground for divorce.
