She’s not just overweight she’s also very short for being 10, which is why I think there is more going on. A good friend’s child has a similar build and has a serious, genetic and degenerative health condition. It seems a lot more was going on here.

Autistic kids are often on the smaller side. In part due to restricted eating and also due to correlated issues with gut and nutrient absorption.

She not small though, just very very short. Regardless, there is a lot more that isn’t being said. Healthy kids don’t just drop dead - there is always an underlying health condition, even if it isn’t known yet. I’m sure the autopsy will say.

Girl looks normal. Probably overate due to stress.

I looked at all of the pictures and the info that is publicly available. To me, and yes it's a very limited view of the overall picture, the child looks neurotypical.

She was not really that short, just looks that way in the pictures compared to her stepmother, who is on the taller side. Dads not super tall either.

Autopsy said heat stroke.

Healthy 10 year olds don’t die of heat stroke when everyone around them is fine. That may have been the proximate cause, but there has to be more.

I’m from the southwest and people do die of heat stroke when they’ve been out all day in the heat. Autism may have been a contributing tractor because autistic kids can sometimes be very particular about consumption of food and beverages, and also because they sometimes lack ability to sense their body overheating. In addition, warning signs that might be a red flag in a NT kid (such as irritability) might be missed with an autistic kid because the parent might atttritubte it to dystegilation due to travel or crowds.

They do. It's very uncommon, but they do. Once you hit a point, it's hard to come back from it. She could have also been suffering from dehydration, which caused electrolyte imbalances, which then caused cardiac issues.

Kids push themselves. Kids don't necessarily drink water when they need it.

Yup. I lost a friend who was healthy. He drove in a car with no AC for a few hours. Then got home, fell asleep and never woke up.

The French one did. Mom wants an American autopsy.

they do if they’re bullied and their symptoms are ignored

Girl looks normal. Probably overate due to stress.

Exactly. She was totally normal, and very sweet. And now her bully of a stepmother is profiting financially from her death. And will probably still be allowed to work with children.

Profiting? I'm sure everything that was given to her and the dad is to bring her home and for funeral expenses.
