Also - remember though that UVA engineering is more than Arts and Sciences there. So it got Lehigh to the 50K range. |
What school? |
What financial issues? |
I’m guessing Vanderbilt or Emory because very few private T-25’s give merit scholarships to full-pay students. |
|
My son got merit from two places that brought the price down to in-state public levels.
Clarkson gave 43K a year or so in merit, and UConn gave 23K a year in merit, which made both schools equivalent to paying in-state public tuition. |
| Furman gave $34000 merit a year (Bell Tower scholarship) |
| UMD B/K full ride |
We visited Hobart, which I liked a lot. Nice location. |
| Mizzou $23K |
Might be theater. They give merit for performing arts |
This isn’t really relevant to the broader DCUM population. To get this, you have to be a NC student who graduates from NCSSM. I went there - great school, but this is not the same as a regular student applying and getting merit aid. |
| We don’t pay a dime for my kid at UMd. Actually, he tends to make $$ as he never spends full book allowance. Best deal out there. |
In-state? |
| Yes in state. Though plenty of full B/K OOS (one from Australia this year) |
