I watched a documentary once and this straight man in Miami had all kind of work done glute implants, lipo, nose job, you name it. There should be a follow up to ask women on the streets what they think about the guy whether they would date him for example? Lmao .... If they don't call him gay, they will say he is "cute" but I doubt they will date him. Replace the same guy with a woman and criticize her. You will then get the responses we see here lol |
Maybe it’s about more than appearance. To me, it’s a red flag regarding values, confidence, and self esteem. |
+1000000000 Between all the BS social media filters, air brushing and then the early age Botox pushed and fillers and lifts before age 40, seems like priorities for women in some circles are sinking lower and lower. Vainer and vainer. |
No idea what your problem is, but you seem to be in denial that your shooting up muscle relaxers not your forehead and what that actually looks like to others. |
The industry likes to tell women under age 40 that if they do Botox early on then they may prevent wrinkles later as your forehead muscles shorten and are weaker. In reality you can just wear sunscreen and hats and not get terrible wrinkles and then start Botox mid 40s. |
The headaches, vision issues and brain fog are real. The industry doesn’t like to acknowledge that and send you off to a neurologist or ophthalmologist if it outlasts the 3+ mos of Botox. Meanwhile, enjoy your smooth forehead and heavy eyebrows you can’t move! |
People often can’t tell. My husband went on a rant about Botox the other day and how awful and unnatural it was. Meanwhile I’m sitting there smiling internally since I’ve been getting Botox for several years and he’s never noticed. |
WhoTF compares a glass of wine your body naturally digests in 6 hours to Botox shots into your forehead muscles?!? Talk about idiotic. Thanks for yet another data point of these types. |
Did you correct and educate him? Or did you stay silent so this standard of “natural” beauty and aging gets higher and higher. To be sure, I have nothing against procedures but I do think it’s weird AF to not mention to your spouse since cumulatively ita a decent amount of money. |
And if it were one drinks over 6 hours that would be one thing, but it’s not. Botox also fades over time. And -this will blow your mind- Botox is used medically as well. |
It’s not really his business and we have separate finances, so I feel no compunction to tell him. |
They don’t notice unless they’re told. Then they’ll see it everywhere- teachers, neighborhood moms, ladies at work, etc. Basically whoever has normal forehead expressions does not. And vice versa. |
Are you still attempting to compare 10-16 neurotoxin shots into your head that takes 3-4 months to decay with drinking a class a wine that instantly passes through your stomach, kidneys and urinary track in 6 hours or less? Hilarious. Maybe your Botox needles hit too many head nerves over time. |
Lol |
Yes, I am sure that one glass of wine is all you ever drink. After all, people on this site are all about only drinking once a week. I don’t even know why alcohol has warning labels at all given how responsibly it is used and the amazing health benefits the wine industry says it has. I’m sure in your life you are just as clean as can be in all things. No alcohol except that one glass, no OTC drugs or prescription drugs or ultra processed foods or anything! And certainly no Botox! |
