Trayon was framed. In any case, what he did is not any different than the government allowing "lobbyists" to reign in Capitol Hill.

If any of you ever worked on the Hill you would know this.

What? How do you know he was framed? The affidavit makes it sound like he was a guy who took a lot of money in bribes

You think lobbyists are routinely giving members of Congress envelopes of cash for passing certain bills? That doesn't happen.
If you're saying lobbyists get performance bonuses, sure. But Trayon White isn't a lobbyist. He's a legislator.

Was U.S. Senator Menendez framed too? How about Rod Blagojevich? Duke Cunningham?

The FBI is adept at catching politicians of all stripes with their hands in the cookie jar. Most of them end up in jail.

There is nothing special about the allegations leveled at your boy Trayon.

It's usually in the form of a cushy board position after their political career is over. Sometimes, it's board positions for relatives.

I was also a lobbyist. There are shenanigans with campaign contributions or donations to a charity associated with someone, as well as nice dinners and drinks. But 3% personal cuts of government contracts does not happen and there is no gray area there.

Lets stay focused people. He was not set up or framed. As a pp, mentioned, it was an FBI sting. The person who was giving Trayon all that money himself was facing federal bank-fraud and bribery charges. He became an FBI informant and gave up Trayon to reduce his punishment. It's all in the arrest affidavit.
