You gonna die on your 10 lb hill. Gurl… 10lb? Are you even serious? |
Are you planning to make any sense any time soon? |
It’s your body not your personal responsibility. Sorry. |
Are you gonna take personal responsibility for your terrible eating habits in the US? |
From reading through this thread it seems there are three possibilities being suggested why semiglutides make you lose weight.
1 You eat fewer calories on them. 2 Your body absorbs fewer calories from the food you eat. 3 Your body burns more calories when you take them. Or perhaps it is a combination of these things. What does the science say? |
Each of those are true depending on the person. |
Nope! You can keep saying that, but the medical community (which you are clearly not a member of) says otherwise.
Lol... yeah and 150 years ago nobody knew what food calories were, and so I guess they didn't exist back then. Or what black holes were, so they didn't exist. Sh*t gets discovered man, that's how it works! Join the community of science! It's awesome and helps people all the time! |
These drugs can also change your taste for food. For example, I now find sodas (yes, diet) to be too syrupy and sweet. I'd infinitely prefer a flavored water or unsweetened tea. Red meat tastes "too rich" (fish is now preferable). I don't like drinking alcohol much anymore. I don't want sugary snacks at all. A salad is actually tasty and satiating. I still really like bread unfortunately but can't eat nearly as much of it in a sitting. Of course, the portion size I need to feel satiated is smaller, and the feeling lasts much longer. These changes didn't require willpower, diligent planning, a premeditated lifestyle change, etc. It's just how it is for me now. |
