Emory. Higher % go to T14 Law.

NP. I went to Georgetown Law - that was the opposite of my experience, at least at that time.

This thread is so cringe

Cringe with ignorance. Literally: there are arguably no two schools that are closer comps than Tufts and Emory. In almost every way. Tufts has an edge with premed and international affairs. Emory has an edge with its business school

Otherwise…could not get closer.

All you fools who say otherwise just don’t know any better

And, obviously, fewer people would opt to go to school in Atlanta.

Re the protestors, some of you don’t seem to understand the word “genocide” given that population has grown 10x over the last 15 years…not really a genocide is it. So much ignorance from half wits out there.

This site is so full of half wits.

This is cringe, yall are so desperate to.make Tufts more than what it is. You really.want us yo believe Tifts is better than EMORY, for pre-med??? Be serious. Emory has always been ranked higher for a reason, despite numerous methodology changes over the last 30 years.

PP I'd odd for that one. Emorys premed acceptance rate is 65%, with over 450 students applying. Thats around 300 Emory students becoming doctors every year. That's more than all of the UCs combined!

Emory. Higher % go to T14 Law.

How do you know this?

Suppose you’re sifting through law school applications…you see one from a Tufts grad. You’d think, “Great, just what we need, another pompous, arrogant, self-important kid from the Northeast.” An Emory grad might be from the east coast, but at least he is open to thinking outside the box regarding location.

Emory is a top 5 university for premed, saying Tufts is better is clearly misinformation. For law, Tufts international relations might be better, but some posters are saying Emory has better T14 placement, which wouldn't be surprising.

Emory has replaced Northeastern as winner of the title most deranged parents.

For getting into a great law school, I think your kid needs to get great grades. A ranking middle-of-the-class Dukie gets into a great law school but not top 14. A top of the class at Univ. of MD will have their choice of law schools from what I've seen.

Completely. I've lost all respect for Emory at this point. Delusional is not a good look.

There are probably 10> Emory supporters on this forum who just post the same stuff over and over. It’s stupid to lose respect for a university based on the opinions of like 7-8 people on an anonymous message board.

Agree with everyone that it is grades and LSATS that matter. Perfect grades and LSATS at either Tufts or Emory are better than middle of the class at Harvard but maybe don't beat out top of the class at a top Ivy for law school...So you where you can shine.

I think Emory is slightly higher ranked and harder to get into. My kid looked at both schools and left the tour at Tufts bc the info session and tour were so lackluster. Had a great tour at Emory but you have to be ok being in Atlanta.
