I wasn’t impressed by MO. Although I think most of her efforts as FL were towards children. And it’s easy to talk about physical education, gardening, dieting, etc.

Hillary always sounds intelligent and insightful of politics and current events. Hillary chose poorly for campaign manager.

And don’t forget that the 2008 primary was stolen from her by the DNC to be the presidential candidate. She easily would have beaten McCain.

The WH intentionally made MO choose a lightweight topic because they knew Fox would go ballistic if she chose something political and they still went ballistic about school lunches . I appreciate that thanks to MO, added sugar is now a legal requirement on nutrition labels. It wasnt required before and I don’t think people notice but anyone with diabetics in the family truly appreciate that and it will especially help black and Latin communities and hopefully help reverse diabetes which is a huge expense on healthcare dollars

Back in 2011 or 2012 (?) I was at Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day paying respects to a loved one - lots of other military families were there too. No one “important” was supposed to show up to my knowledge - there wasn’t a scheduled program or performance. Just a bunch of normal people mourning.

Suddenly a black SUV pulls up and Michelle Obama gets out. She was so, so kind and comforting. She didn’t give a speech or anything, just walked through, talking with people. She seemed incredibly genuine.

Definitely, Hillary Clinton.

I think Michelle Obama and Jill Biden are accomplished in an everyday kind of way. I have a lot of friends and acquaintances like them.

How wonderful! She seems like such a great person to know.

How can you be a “feminist spitfire” if you stay with a husband who repeatedly cheats on you publicly and humiliates you in front of the entire world?

That’s neither feminist nor spitfire.

She wasn’t going to divorce him when he was Gov of Arkansas, or in 1992 in the middle of his campaign despite the allegations, or in 98 as sitting First Lady.

If he was just an attorney in Arkansas, I think she definitely would’ve divorced him

This is the infamous “baking cookies” and “Tammy Wynette” remark. Bill looks like he instantly regrets this and knows it might cost him the election

I don't understand why she felt the need to insult Tammy Wynette for no reason. Especially when she (Hillary) in fact did stand by her man then, and continued to do so later.

That is a good point. Loretta Lynn and Tammy Wynette helped bring a woman's perspective to the male-dominated country music field that helped other women find representation in the genre.
At the beginning of her career, no one wanted to hire Tammy to sing because the country music industry was dominated by men.

When asked during a 60 Minutes interview about her marriage to then-presidential candidate Bill Clinton (who had been accused of infidelity), Hillary Clinton said, "I'm not sitting here as some little woman standing by my man like Tammy Wynette". The end of this quotation has also appeared as "some little woman, standing by my man and baking cookies, like Tammy Wynette." However, the reference to cookie-baking more likely comes from an unrelated remark by Hillary Clinton: "I suppose I could have stayed home and baked cookies and had teas, but what I decided to do was to fulfill my profession, which I entered before my husband was in public life.” The remark received widespread media and press attention.

Wynette wrote to Clinton, saying, "With all that is in me, I resent your caustic remark. I believe you have offended every true country-music fan and every person who has made it on their own with no one to take them to the White House." Hillary then remarked to the press that she had no intention of speaking negatively about Wynette and that she enjoyed Wynette's music. She then personally called Wynette and apologized to her.

Tammy was correct; HRC would not have had her illustrious career without Bill taking her to the WH.

Melania speaks like 5 languages which is impressive but normal for a Central European

I think Hillary’s choice of words were odd given her own mother was a homemaker and she was the smartest and most well read woman she knew.

I think HC then MO. Doing charity work and as FL and marrying well does not count as the most accomplished.

If you know anything about their story, then you would know that HC took Bill to the WH.
