Jonah Hill

He's been in therapy his entire life. He's a nut.

His rhetoric reminds me of record producer Phil Spector who essentially literally locked his wife in his mansion and wouldn't let her leave.

Sane?

Stipulating that your partner can have no friends of the opposite sex is not sane. That's manipulative and controlling.

+1. You can't have guy friends, you can't post on instagram, you can't wear a bikini, you can't make money in your profession (a profession which is how I met you!)........ for the privilege of having sex with my creepy fat ugly *ss. Um, where do I sign up for that? He wanted to use this "hot" gal for sex and then discard her. He was never going to marry her. The demands he was making are MAYBE something you can ask of your wife. Not a new girlfriend.

That's not what he said.

In so many words, that is what he said. He was bullying, gaslighting, and trying to manipulate a young girlfriend who lacks his fame and money. Also note the age difference. He's almost 40 and she's early 20s. He's disgusting.

I didn't see any manipulation. I saw straightforward idiocy.

+1 He says that he doesn't think they are good partners if she won't follow his list of demands. That's where she should agree and say "you're right!" He even says, no hard feelings. Why does she have hard feelings about it? It's just a dodged bullet on her end. Why is she so mad bringing this up after all this time?

Maybe because he also says stuff like "I am literally the best boyfriend" while he is trying to stop her from having conversations with or surfing with other men? That would irk me if I were her. Like, wut?

So dump his ass and move on. He moved on quickly which seems to be her main issue.

If my boyfriend asked me to delete certain photos of myself, going back years before I met him, it would be a massive red flag. It sucks that she tried to comply but I don’t hold that against her. I hold it against him that he would even ask. Get a life.

I wasn't a mentally abusive 40-year-old mid life crisis boyfriend to my early 20s ex girlfriend, SHE'S JUST JEALOUS!

Um, good luck that.

Explain the timing then. Why bring up the texts now that he has a baby?

Explain your motives, you know, outside of your personal biases and problems with women. Dragging your abusive ex is a "thing". It's not something I would have ever done, but it's pretty common on social media these days. And just a day or two before Jonah's ex, there was a similar viral thing with a man trying to control his famous girlfriend. Keke Palmer.

Another victim of Jonah Hill comes forward. A then 16 year old girl actress claims a then 24 year old Jonah Hill forced himself on her at a house party where kids were fed alcohol.

Lie with dogs and you might get fleas. Jonah Hill is not a catch. Nobody knows who Sarah Brady is this seems like a lame way to get attention and put her name out there.

Some requests of a partner are reasonable and some are not. The correct response would be for her to just say farewell and move on, but he’s still a creep. Would you want any of your friends to date a guy who sent those messages? Absolutely not!

Guy is a predator. And it's obvious just by looking at him plus his over the top "male feminist" fake rhetoric.

You don't impose boundaries on other people though. Boundaries are something that you make for yourself........ He is misusing the jargon to try to control her with a touch of gaslighting in for good measure

Following his rules would be akin to asking her to quit her job and become financially dependent on him after only a few months of dating. Which is creepy and weird.

I still think she should never have released these, but his “boundaries” (not boundaries at all, rules for her life) were not reasonable.

So that means that you shouldn't date Jonah Hill. But he isn't wrong for laying out what he wants in a mate. It's really not that unusual for a rich man to want his spouse to quit her work and be available for him full-time, and many women are happy with that lifestyle. Not my jam, but also not my role to criticize other people's choices.

He’s a controlling freak and gross. Gotta love the way a poster here is trying to reframe his comments as normal. Are you part of his or team?

Anonymous wrote:He's creepy and controlling and deeply screwed up. Just because he was polite in the texts doesn't make him a nice guy - he was trying to impose absurd, unreasonable constraints on a romantic partner. That is by definition abusive. How screwed up would you have to be to get involved with someone whose job involves wearing a bathing suit and then chastise that person for wearing a bathing suit? And his girlfriends aren't permitted to talk to men? Ayatollah Jonah is a jerk.

Well put.
