This. I have a son and a daughter and I expect them both to be polite. It's funny because DS *just* talked about this with us last week. DH and I have opposing political views and have friends all along the political spectrum. And grandparents who have different political views. We discuss politics a good amount at home so they are well aware of our thoughts. He definitely finds some of the girls at his high school to be as this PP described. |
Form their own club. It's easy and open to all that want to do it. |
ohh those open-minded Dems! Now called the Hypocrite Party. |
I guess you mean it’s typical of the Republican who would have dictated the club direction. My H, the Republican. I was just in charge of emails and funds. Did you even read my post? |
Just one of may nasty comments here. Wonder why our politics suck so bad. I think this talk from both sides turns off any kid to any "political" club . Trust me when Gen Z and Gen A start voting you will see how they feel maybe they will git rid of both parties. |
No they don’t, but you are teaching your weak minded son to categorize women as rabid if they don’t agree with him. Bad parenting. |
Typical. Can’t defend your position. |
Trump raised taxes, his boarder was less secure and he has no energy plan. |
Gas lighter of the day! ![]() |
Obama average was below 50 ~ 46, Biden is just below that average. Trumps approval rating was lower. |
It’s actually not 12% lower if you can’t work with facts I can’t help you. |
This is an MCPS thread. MCPS is in Maryland. Biden/D is going to win MD's EV, love it or hate it.
Biden's current 40% is lowish for reelection, but not so low because: * polarization and anger is much bigger since 2008. More voters hate all candidates, but they still have to pick or abstain. * A lot of Biden's disapproval is from the farther left, who won't vote Trump-style R. (And Republicans won't nominate a moderate like Hogan -- an R version of Biden or Clinton) |
Seriously how can someone have a young Republicans club if they don’t know that Obama had more secure boarders, and that Reagan/Bush both supported more open boarders. If they can look at the new tax code and explain to students people in the middle class pay way more under Trump. How do they explain the Republicans overreach on books and then explain that conservatives believe less govt. How do you explain that conservatives don’t believe in religious influence in govt but using religion to influence govt. The Republicans on this thread don’t even understand conservatives vs tea party vs MAGA. How will their kids ever know. No wonder the poor boy can’t discuss his “beliefs” his parents don’t even understand them. |
If Republicans want to be educated on what real conservatives think about immigration.
Have the young Republicans discuss this. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YsmgPp_nlok |
What is it then? Last I checked, Biden's approval rating was 43. GWB was 48. That's a difference of 5 points, or 12%. |
