Lol are you nuts?

His Jafar was the best character of the season thus far:

He blows.

He’s so funny. And a good actor - go watch fire island.

Bowen Yang is NOT FUNNY at ALL!!!

Yeeeesssss! 😂
He is always hilarious in all of his skits.
His comedic talent is on point.

I loved him as the Titanic iceberg, the China balloon, etc.

Last night he was hysterical as both the Panda Bear as well as his George Santos.
Lol!

You gotta meet the diversity quotas somehow. He kills two birds with one stone.

So funny and awesome: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qP5bu9hLH9E

I keep hearing that she’s funny but she just isn’t on SNL. Maybe there are too many cast members so she can’t shine? She just sounds like Kermit the Frog but has a great smile. Maybe she needs a different platform.

+1 I don’t think she’s funny at all.

This was fantastic IMO.

So, soooo terrible. Wonder why they don’t just racialize everything, because that’s clearly all they can write these days.

Do the angry black woman stereotype or the patriarchal Hispanic man skits next. SNL is so racist.

Sadly, he isn't funny. He was the first time I saw him - and then every appearance was the exact.same.shtick.

Love him. The spy balloon skit was hilarious.

Absolutely hate the guy. Plays the same over the top gay guy in every sketch. P

Did not read the thread, but I loved his Titanic iceberg and Body Shop skit with Jack Harlow, hysterical. I have not watched SNL lately so don't know about newer stuff.

I like him yet agree his roles could offer him more range. I usually think of him as playing a character who is disgusted or unhappy about something while speaking in a whiny voice.

That said, he’s not the only SNL player to be typecast and “stuck” in playing a certain type of person. Kate M played insane ladies yet — lucky for her — she was given HRC and other role variety so she she didn’t get 100% typecast.

So I can’t judge him just based on SNL, which is a cutthroat environment where he might be getting sucky roles.
