I love it when Conservatives try to "both sides!" the media as if there is any comparison between FOX/OANN providing unflinching support of the far right and NYT/NPR providing lukewarm support of centrist corporatist Democratic policies that would be center right in any civilized nation while actively suppressing actual left wing views.
It's ALL right wing news. |
So I guess pew research doesn't count? The research is the research. Sorry it disagrees with how you feel. |
There’s research that disagrees with how you feel too. Frankly, it’s evident to me that the “mainstream” media is so obviously, patently in the tank for the GOP that you and your arguments are hard to take seriously. And your “Pew Research” didn’t examine whether the media itself was biased. It’s like we’re talking about apple juice and you brought a pitcher of grape juice and are arguing it’s apple. It isn’t. |
The research doesn't disagree at all with how I feel. The research shows certain media outlets have a bias towards Biden-style corporate centrist Democrat policies, but Pew considers those to be "left wing" when they simply aren't. They're center right by any reasonable global standards. Show me some research, any at all, that indicates ANY mainstream news networks have a bias towards actual, honest-to-god left wing politics like UBI, universal single payer healthcare, wealth taxes, eliminating the military industrial and prison industrial complexes, etc. and I'll admit I was wrong, but I'm not going to have to do that because it simply doesn't exist. |
MSNBC…got it |
No, you don’t “got it.” |
Not only is it an information security issue, but My guess is that directed energy weapons can be amplified or manipulate Bluetooth device batteries right next to the users’ head. Risk of fire or explosion next to a person’s head. |
+1 The media screamed about butteremails. They were silent on Trump’s unsecure personal phone. Now they’re upset that Harris is being appropriately prudent around security? WTFH is their problem? How are people still willing to pretend that the media isn’t totally pro-GOP when it demonstratively is? |
The fact that so many posters in this thread are lumping actual reporting in with commentary/opinion says a lot.
A more significant concern is that local news/reporting is all but dead in huge portions of the country. |
