Best soup recipes?

Anonymous
I have a loved one who for medical reasons is eating a lot of soups right now. Please share your best recipes. The soups do not need to be low fat or low sodium - in fact, high calorie/high protein is better because they are suffering from weight loss and low blood pressure for the same medical reasons. The soups also don’t need to be broths - cream soups, soups with chunky ingredients (veg, meat, meatballs, etc) are all welcome. Thanks!

High calorie would be the copycat chicken and gnocci from Olive garden, broccoli cheddar, french onion

Chicken Pot Pie soup is a family favorite. You use heavy cream, loads of vegetables and can top with pie crust discs. It's basically like chicken pot pie but not quite as thick.

OP here - Thank you all! This is helpful, and I haven’t eve. Had time to go through the whole linked thread yet - it looks like a goldmine.

Does anyone specifically have a recipe for a crab and corn soup? Like a bisque maybe? That’s one flavour combo said family member has recently said appeals to them.
