Best brush for DSH cats

I have a regular ol domestic short hair cat, on the petite side, but holy hell does she shed a lot. I try to brush her a few days a week, and can make a tiny kitten out of the fur on her back and sides.

But I don't know how to get the shorter hairs - on her head, sides, arms, legs, chest, etc. Is there a brush that removes excess fur from all parts of the kitteh, not just the torso? What is the best cat brush for regular-length hair cats?

I use a slicker brush on my cat, very gently. Does a good job, but she’s a cat so still sheds no matter what.

I use a furminator on my floofy chonk with short hair. I just use it lightly on his legs, arms, and head though he requests a firm pressure under the chin and around the collar.
