Thread lurker asking: How does GFR roster its older girl teams if girls chased out? Is it easy enough to find and fill spots with higher level players? Or are there enough girls teams U14+ that GFR starts consolidating teams as the girls get older so they need to be cutting as they go?

our daughter is younger but there's an older sister of her teammate who plays on one of the older teams and i heard the 09's were down to one team of 11 before eth season started so they added players from the 10's to fill the gaps left by players who left. they're still competitive in RL but not what they used to be. the 08's have 2 teams though which seems weird? i guess they'll all be graduating though. hoping that the club can pick up some girls in the younger age groups so we don't end up in a similar situation in a few years.

Team Dad said Board meeting said nothing, RS just mentioned he proposed a new role. Where is the job description for his new role? Is it in meeting minutes? Are those on the website?

What does operations mean? Isn't that the ED job? Why is he moving to a new role? Who is new ED?

Haven’t heard from the guy at all yet. Looks like he has no soccer club experience whatsoever. Maybe AI apps will help manage the club. So many other people were qualified for the role. Wonder how he got through.

I don't know if soccer club experience is necessary as long as he's being trained properly? But I guess KG left with no notice so who knows.
