| Anyone been able to get any details in light of shortages etc. Thanks |
| I had to buy full MSRP for a Lexus SUV and a shipping charge. It’s difficult to get a specific vehicle these days. |
| All of the cars we're considering have a "market adjustment." |
| It looks like a bit below MSRP is the going rate on XC90s. |
| We did but involved a TON of haggling and calling probably 10 dealerships. We ended up saving $6k on a $90k car which my husband felt was worth the time spent. |
| op here...how can you see a bit below msrp is the going rate on xc90s? is there a website or something? |
$90k? The hybrid one? They were msrp for $80k last year. |

| I bought a new Audi in the spring, I noticed the same 2022 model’s MSRP is $10K higher today. I got about $4000 off then, maybe they’ll still give you a little off but the starting price is 20% higher. |
Edmunds has what you should expect to pay |
Yup, had the same experience - I just finished a six-week car-buying process (for a Subaru), and even in that time period I saw MSRP's go up by a few thousand dollars. I got a $500 discount off of MSRP - but the MSRP in late December was about $2,000 higher than it was in early November. And definitely shop around for the "out the door" price. Garbage add-on fees from dealers are always a problem, but in this environment it is particularly bad. |
