Well that's funny because all of the people that I know that are using IVF are good Christian people who God didn't seem to want to bless with children. Lol |
Just like they already do for health care and education. It's almost like the blue states are doing something right huh? |
Me too. I find it especially weird coming from people who believe for other people that when God doesn’t grant you favor it means you did something wrong and it’s a punishment. If it’s a punishment from God, why are you trying to do the opposite? |
Don’t be uglier than necessary. |
Something like that, yes. https://abovethelaw.com/2020/10/is-amy-coney-barrett-the-beginning-of-the-end-for-ivf/?amp=1 |
+1 It’s absolutely immoral and depraved. |
I am not shocked. This outcome was obvious the night of November 8, 2016. That's the night I grieved for the end of Roe. v. Wade because it was obvious that it would be the end. And pay attention to who is "infuriated" by the leak. It's theater by the Right to make this about the "leaker" who is clearly also from the Right. |
They’re sharing an anecdote about their friends. It’s not like they’re trying to take healthcare away from women or anything. |
Still ugly. But we both knew that, and I’m no fan of Christian extremism - or our healthcare system at all. |
My guess is the Roberts investigation will come up inconclusive, but it would be really awesome if they actually were able to pin Alito or one of the other GOP justices with doing it. |
Already ivf is skewed to wealthy and now it will be for wealthy blue staters. |
I mean all the ones that IVF failed for were good Christians in my experience. It’s like god really said no- a lot. |
I… don’t care. It is what it is and a lot of Christians have made their decisions (and I am Christian). They always think the punishment and pain will be carried by those who “deserve” it and I am out of ducks on that regard. |
It was totally Ginni. |
| So no response on what if the woman wants to give up full custody of the embryo. I feel that The father should have to pay to incubate it somewhere, whether that be a medical lab or a another woman, a surrogate whoever they want. So instead of terminating the pregnancy it can just be moved somewhere else at his expense. |
