| Will you be lotterying for it? I am a little nervous about having my kid as the leading grade at a totally new school. |
| It's not a totally new school! It's a second campus for a mature, successful program. |
True, but the first few years at Stokes East End were also a little tough with staff moving over, etc. |
| The location is ugh and then they will have to move. So I'm not into it. |
My concern is growing pains forever for my kid who would be in the leading grade. |
| What is the address for the latin new campus and will there be a tour? |
| yeah where is it and how long will it be there? |
| 700 Edgewood Street NE for up to 3 years, then they'll outgrow it and have to move somewhere. Or something. |
Is this where it is? https://mpdc.dc.gov/release/suspects-sought-armed-robbery-knife-offense-700-block-edgewood-street-northeast |

Uh...

| Yeah it’s a rough location. |
It's just in a series of warehouses, my biggest concern is the logistics of drop offs/pick ups for not independent metro or bussers. It's a mess already all hours of the day with cars. |
| Unfortunately it feels like Latin took the lazy approach of choosing a close to their campus place just to keep dcpcsb excited. Unfortunately there's not much better about the new space than the old. Still rakes two metro transfers and a warehouse walk from ward 8 7 and 6. My question is why Latin had to rush it. Why not wait until you have a real space to expand? Why now? |
| They are now giving priority to at-risk kids and so need more space. |
| what grades are the new campus going to offer? Is it just 5th? |
