Anyone Have Kids at Frost Middle School

What is it like? Would love some feedback on those who have kids currently attending or recently graduated.

Our son just started 6th grade there. We really like it. They work hard on developing independence and set the kids up for success. The transition from virtual school last year to 6th grade brought a lot of changes but my son is doing well and generally likes it. It's also nice to have afterschool clubs and free periods where he can choose to get extra help from teachers or do different activities.

I have a 7th grader. It’s fine. The principal is very responsive and receptive. The staff treats kids with respect. But it’s a big school, all kinds of kids, and issues. It’s the same everywhere though. My son is thriving there.

My kid is pretty sheltered and coming from a private school. What do you mean about all kinds of kids?

Kids who are super academically competitive, kids who like to cause trouble, just regular middle school stuff.
