Dumb questions re cooking rice

I want to make rice pilaf for company tonight, for one box you use 1 3/4 cup of water and cook for 20 minutes on the stovetop. If I want to make 2 boxes, I assume I just double the amount of water? Also, will the cook time still be 20 minutes, or would it be longer?

Probably same cooking time. Just keep an eye on it. When the rice looks ready and has sucked up all the liquid, it's good to go. Hope dinner is a success!
