Where to send elementary kids near Takoma Park, MD?

The boundary system has been re-drawn and kids from Takoma Park are not slated for SCES. |

Very few from Takoma are in boundary for Sligo Creek. We are on the western end of Takoma, and our kid would have gone to Takoma Park ES, followed by Piney Branch, except for the fact that DC got into the lottery for french immersion at Sligo Creek. |

| 20:43 here again. 11:47 may be right, DC started at Sligo a few years ago (as an immersion student) and I don't know what's happened to boundaries since then. |

Yes, 11:47 is right, I think. The new boundaries will affect kids beginning in the 2010-2011 school year. |
