MVA: how long does it take for title to transfer

How long does it take for a title to transfer? I sold my car back to the dealership and made a small amount of money. It’s been 10 days and they still haven’t given me my check. Is this reasonable?

you gave dealership the title with out having a check? they are usually able to write check at the dealership when they buy a vehicle...

I’m possibly not understanding your question. I did a title transfer at the MVA and it was effective immediately. You seem to be focused on getting a check from a specific dealer, which is more about that dealer and maybe even specific staff than some standard timeline. Have you spoken with anyone at the dealership?
