| Thanks for posting. Not a great showing for the private schools in MoCo. Magnet schools, of course, doing great. |
Do they even take it - I can't believe that not one person from many of the elite privates around here would have qualified. And I'm not a private booster by any means. |

| I can see having skipped the PSATs last year |
|
Also - here's the list for DC
https://patch.com/district-columbia/washingtondc/2022-national-merit-semifinalists-named-washington-dc Which includes Sidwell, Maret, GDS, Cathedral, St. Albans, WIS, and a couple more. |
| Anyone have a link to the Virginia list? |
Four from Holton and two from JDS. None of the other MC privates listed. Last year kids were allowed to use SAT instead if school didn’t offer the PSAT. |
The Heights is on there. |
| The data is skewed because MCPS cancelled PSAT day so students just submitted their best SAT score. Private mostly held in-person PSAT Day in the fall/winter. - MCPS Mom |
| Looks like the third tier schools crushed the tier 1 schools. Sorry moco. |
|
Patch lists kids from Northern Virginia.
8 from Potomac 1 from Madiera 3 from Basis 2 from Flint Hill 1 from Ideaventions 1 from Bishop O'Connell 1 from SSSAS |
| It's also missing the kids who submitted scores late -- like mine! |
I am not sure that I understand your post. Why "sorrymoco"? They dominate. |
| None from Bullis again. |
