That helps keep them still? Need to attend an outdoor event, and would love not to be chasing them around the whole time.

Fidget toys or pop its, small pad of paper and crayons and or stickers, play doh, small cars, magnatiles ( I can’t think of the exact name but there is a magnet set similar to magnatiles that are block shaped and smaller that work well for a smaller space like sitting at a table)

Water Wow and the sticker books are great. Honestly, if you're at an outdoor event and your kid is glued to a tablet the whole time, that's going to raise some eyebrows. Also, if you are outdoors you may have to resign yourself to chasing after your kid most of the time.
