Bachelorette divorce

Not going to lie - was surprised by this! Ashley and JP have separated. Not sure there’s been an actual divorce of couples from this show who’ve made it down the aisle...

It was clear they were really different people, she more serious and goal-oriented, he more laid back. They did one of those couple counseling shows where he complained they didn’t have sex. Only surprised they lasted this long.

Six months after he was diagnosed with an auto-immune disorder which will eventually paralyze him for life? That’s cold. What happened to in sickness and in health?

What? It won't paralyze him for life.

Most people eventually make a full recovery from Guillain-Barré syndrome, but this can sometimes take a long time and around 1 in 5 people have long-term problems. The vast majority of people recover within a year. A few people may have symptoms again years later, but this is rare.

True. It’s still a debilitating illness, a new diagnosis for him, and to battle it on top of worrying about Covid-19? Meanwhile your wife is divorcing you.

Chris and Krystal, who are from the Bachelor Franchise but not Bachelorette, got married and separated/divorced in < 12 months. They met on Bachelor in Paradise and wed on BIP the following year. Wed in June 2019. Announced separation Feb. 2020.
