Really disappointed in central office leadership. Just finally this month they involved local experts to purchase filtration units and they will come by the end of the month. SCHOOL IS ALREADY IN SESSION. WHY WAS NONE OF THIS ADDRESSED BEFORE. They have had months and months and months to prepare and every time they do a halfway job and have to be reactive to community outrage. They didn't even initially purchase outdoor dining tents because in their own words they were a "tripping hazard."

Very unimpressed- so much for the best school system, more like the best test scores just correlated on income. Listen to the responses to Q&A in their own words starting around ~42-43 minutes.

At 1:45 they fumble around while they cannot even explain what their plans are with ESSER funds.

HoCo's school system is not the best. No one wants their property values to fall by admitting that.
They were trying to wait it out and see if they could get away with doing nothing in regards to covid. wait until the pandemic was over and open back up as if it didn't even happen.
I think at some point the reality hit that they were going to have to open up. Pretty awful.

I just don't understand why leadership isn't held to account more by the board. Both sets are asleep at the wheel.
