Spinoff of SN swim lessons...for those in NoVA

Hi there...I called our local community center (we live in ffx county) for private swim lessons. My ds has sensory issues so groups are a diasaster. The prices are as follows:

1 private lesson: $35 for 30 minutes (they also do 60 minutes)
pack of 4 lessons $126
lesson for 2 kids: $50 for 30 minutes.

Ours has a 3.5 week wait so we are going to sign up in April so we can have some lessons before the pool opens in late May.

Do they have people who are used to working with children who habve special needs?

Op again...our local community center has adapted aquatics so I am going to request one of them for the private lessons. HTH...

A lot of times the adapted aquatics people are only volunteers and have no training in actual instruction. FWIW. I volunteered to do this in High School. I would ask about the backgrounds of the instructors before you sign up.
