Does your child's school meet on weekends or evenings?

I'm an aspiring teacher who is trying to gain "classroom" experience (volunteer) before starting grad school next year. I have a day job so I'm trying to find a school in DC/NoVa that either has class or special sessions or something that meet on evenings and weekends. I want to become a middle school English teacher so I'd love to do some volunteering with students in grades 4-12. Any tips, ideas, and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I would think your best bet would be to try a place like Sylvan or Kumon that is an after-school activity. Or try some of the groups that offer computer lessons or other classes at area community centers.
