Taking a booster seat on a plane.

What's the best way to do this? I could possibly fit a backless booster in my luggage. Or should I take a high-backed booster and somehow check it at the gate? I'm travelling to a middle eastern country where car seats are not the norm.

I have a clek oobr (our regular booster) and a backless Graco.

My husband just traveled and he took the backless booster and he said it worked out great. The high back would be difficult to handle and manage. He was so glad he only took the bottom booster. Have a great trip.
