I am SO happy that they made this announcement! It looks like they have a virtual option for K-6 for the first semester but if a vaccine is available for those students before 2nd semester they won't offer it again.
The Virtual Campus option for 7-12th graders makes a lot of sense. Online learning works really well for some kids and if it is being offered by teachers who are allowed to focus solely on that it could be really great. Dr. Goldson continues to impress me in her handling of all of this. |
| I'm very pleased they'll be back full-time, but they've been so slow to roll out any plans that it's really difficult for families to make alternative choices. I realize that not everyone has options in schooling, but for those that do, it's been a frustrating year. |

We are so happy. My son has been in child care for the last year without a vaccine, so I'm comfortable sending him in person, and I did not want to deal with virtual Kindergarten.
Now, I just have to stress about after care since those plans seem not settled. |
