Does Maret and GDS call or have parent call

| Hi, does anyone know if Maret or GDS call regarding acceptances before letters are sent OR if they have parents call after letters are sent to inform them of acceptance? I haven't heard much on this board about these two schools. I know Sidwell normally has a current parent call. Thanks..and just curious if I should actually keep my phone turned on this weekend : ) |

| Maret does not call until after letters are out - even for a sibling. |

| Does anyone know if the Maret, GDS or Sidwell letters will arrive tomorrow? Or just be mailed out tomorrow, to arrive Saturday or Monday? |

| None of the letters will be received tomorrow. They are being mailed tomorrow so most likely you will get them on Saturday. From my experience, the schools to which we were not accpeted the letters came first! We received positive news the following week (I think by Tues/Wed). |

| GDS, at least according to their web site, will not be mailing admissions decisions until next Friday, March 12. |

| 2 years ago some letters came on Friday and some on Saturday. Acceptances and waitlists were all received on those two days. I can't say how the snow might have impacted this. |

Perhaps they should follow colleges' lead and do email notifications to avoid snail mail delays.

| 3 years ago we got Maret on Friday and GDS on Saturday. Both "waitlist" letters. An aceptance at another school came Monday but an email message came on Friday. |
