When does Beauvoir mail?

Anonymous
I am guessing that "mid-March" is intentionally vague. Does anyone know if they are mailing on March 5th along with others?

We applied two years in a row and received our letters on would be the equivalent of March 6 this year. We didn't know the waitlist was really a rejection so wasted a lot of time hoping.

Thanks. Do you remember whether the stated mail date was "mid-March" as it is this year?

Were you wait-listed both times? If so I am sure you are at another great school!

Yes, it was "mid-March". We were wait-listed both times and yes we're at a greal school now - our local public!

I know 2 kids who got in off the waitlist. People move, etc.

Has anyone found out for sure that they are mailing on Friday?

I was able to speak with Beauvoir Admissions last week. I was told letters are sent out the end of the first week of March. Good luck everyone!

Any chance we could receive letters tomorrow? Does the postal service ever deliver within one day for neighboring zip codes?

In theory - I would assume if they dropped the letters off at the PO tomorrow - nearby zip codes could get the letter by the afternoon. But really - what is one more day of waiting?

You're kidding, right? The USPS is not a messenger delivery service.

Actually I frequently get mail the same day it has been mailed - as long as it is within the same zip code.

We received Beauvoir mail on a Saturday last year and we are in 20016. We were WL so perhaps the accepts get them on Friday.

When we were accepted we got the letter on the Saturday and no phone call prior to that.
