Obtaining a PG County Student ID

The PG County specialty and charter school lottery is open, but I feel like an idiot and can't find instructions for getting my son a student ID so I can enter the lottery (he is 4 so will be in Kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year). The website says I need to complete a "new enrollment" but I don't know where/what that is. I'm just going to blame 8 months of a pandemic, and I'm not operating on full cylinders lately.
Anybody smarter than me, please help.

| You need to contact the local elementary school that you are zoned for. The registrar can give you his student ID number. I'm not sure how they are doing this with Covid and schools being closed, but when I did it years ago, I had to go to the school in person and bring ID and proof of residency. |
