| it's so irritating every time i hear/see it. does anyone else find it annoying? |
| I have no idea what you are referring to. Product? Context? |
Yes, it's so stupid and unrealistic and has nothing whatsoever to do with closet organizers. Plus, the actress' voice makes me want to shove an icepick in my ears. Here's the ad for anyone who wants to see it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGkYeGcWwX0 |
| Within 1 sec I knew it was about an adoptee. Trite. |
| Had never seen it, but yeah, annoying. Her voice sounds like an Alexa or Siri knockoff. Plus, such a deep story where we get none of the details. So many questions! If she's just meeting him, why is she jumping into "Mom" right away? He's an older kid, he needs time to get to that. And if she hasn't met him yet because it's an international adoption, what's the likelihood that he understands English? |
BS. |
| Same stupid closet commercial about a mom re-entering the workforce. Nothing to do with closets. At All. Closets are not "a thing." |
| The point of the commercial is to say you have to be rich enough to have and fill that kind of closet in order to adopt a child. |
Yes. |
you can tell how she is saying the name, its definitely NOT romantic. I did not expect it to be a foreign adoptee (probably b/c his name was Michael), but it makes the setup much clearer. |
Lol “Hi Dmitri, I’m Amanda. But I can call you Michael, if I like.” |
Blasphemy!!
|
ok. i recall the BS. |
|
I think it’s saying that people who spend a lot on a closet are deep, good, kind people who do wonderful things like adopt international children.
Therefore, run out and spend a lot on organizing your closet, stat! |
| I that it said “Hello, Michael. I’m a man now, but you can call me mom.” |
