How to disable a Google account of a deceased person?

Anonymous
I have been receiving threatening emails from an account that belongs to a recently deceased person.
The email was accessed from the the person’s cellphone. Some of these emails contain information that can be potentially damaging for me if revealed (secret affair between our school principal and a teacher — both married to their respective spouses).
I have already received over 10 threatening emails in less than 2 days.
Since Google does not have a contact number, how can I get in touch with the team and inform them that the original owner of the account is deceased? Will the account be active forever?

Do you have access to their password? Or to a device that is signed in to their email that would let you get a password reset?

I know how to do it in that circumstance. Otherwise, I don't know, which doesn't mean it isn't possible.

I am sorry for your loss.

OP if you are in MOCO, don’t say anymore than you already have, you have already revealed details that may enable others to figure out the players to the affair.

Op, it’s possible that the spouse of the deceased found evidence of the affair and is pissed?

Mark emails as spam and block the number. I don’t think google can intervene for you. Make better life choices.

How could the affairs be damaging to you?

I'm confused...are you related to the deceased? Are you the "other" person in the affair?
Are these threats directed at the deceased person or you?
How does the accountant play into this?
