Kindle freezes when child reads Naruto manga

It’s an old kindle paperwhite but we had no issues with regular books.
Naruto (manga) is giving DC problems because the kindle freezes when he reopens it. I tried kindle app on the iPad and had problems with Naruto too. I don’t understand if it’s this particular series or all manga or the old kindle. Help? |
