If you use Oak Meadow, specifically the online school which has an admissions process, could you please tell me about your experience? I'm looking at upper elementary. I know I missed the window for this year- am looking at next year.

| We are trying out OM for our 2nd grader this year. I went to the virtual info session and they said that the online school isn't really online, meaning you are not interacting with other teachers or students in a virtual setting. You are simply handing in assignments for teachers to review and give feedback on. I was told this option is really better for older kids who need to be held accountable for their work, and isn't really that necessary for younger kids, which is why we chose the curriculum only option. |

Our family has been using OM for the last school year prior to covid for high schooler and it has been great. HS student has done well, has learned more than she learned any other year by her own report, and has figured out how she learns best and likes to learn. Due to covid and DL we decided to pull dd2 out of public school and she will be starting middle school at OM. Both enrolled in the online school and not technical
