1. Amelia and Bennett. I love Bennett, and I love them as a couple. Their quirky shtick could grate, but I agree with Miles' assessment (which also makes me like Miles!) that Bennett is a genuine guy. I still snicker every time I picture him dancing with those badonkadonk strippers. 😂
2. Karen and Miles. Miles is very impressive and seems absolutely ready to be a husband even at his young age. I hope Karen will loosen up and give him a chance. When she got a sneak peak at him, she was saying he's not her type. I wonder if she meant physically or otherwise -- she complained that he was too expressive on social media, but, also, on the casting special, she said she likes ripped, toned men, which he is not. But maybe Miles won't knock up another woman on her! 3. Olivia and Brett. Poor, sweet Olivia. Doomed from the start by the producers sticking her with this season's clown. I like her, but I cringe every time she says "i want a nice guy to finish last with me." I can't figure Brett out. He seems to think he's a ladies man, which is strange considering he can't get any second dates. I was hoping that bravado was just an act, but alas, it doesn't look good for these two. 4. Amani and Woody. Amani is fantastic. I loved her banter with his friends, and I'd like to be adopted by her dad and step-dad somehow. I hope Woody proves worthy of her, but I fear he's an incorrigible player. (dayum, look at me breaking out the SAT words!) 5. Christina and Henry. What in sam hill. A disaster from the get-go on both sides. Christina is obviously getting the bitch edit, probably deserved, but Henry should NOT be on this show. Tourettes? Spectrum? Just nervous and bizarrely shallow? Possibly gay?! (What guy is most worried his bride won't have good shoes?!) And she can't even remember his name. 😂 Props to her for straight-out asking, do you think I'm pretty? You know a guy is not mature enough to be married if he can't even muster a fake compliment on the best-looking day of his bride's life. What are your thoughts? |
| I absolutely love Amelia and Bennett! Their ‘weirdness’ and impression that they truly are themselves and don’t care what other people think/how they portray themselves make them so endearing. I smile the entire time they’re on screen. |
| Also - Henry’s lady friends were horrible. They were so unnecessarily bitchy and rude. Made themselves look awful. |
|
Totally agree OP! Amelia and Bennett are definitely my faves. They make me so happy! The preview where she says she loves him is too cute.
I think Amelia and Bennett, Miles and Karen, and Woody and Amani show promise. I definitely don't see Christina and Henry or Olivia and Brett working out. |
|
But the reality is that this show is about to get slammed by the pandemic and filming will be halted to iPhones.
Let’s relish in the last few episodes of tv as we’ve known it. Came on to say that Brett fills the bad husband, player role Bennett and Amelia seem perfect until her serious MD adult side emerges and won’t find Bennett’s Pedicab career cute. Something is up with Henry, but how uncomfortable was he when he saw her tall self, thought he’d say ‘I’m out’ |
|
So far Bennett and Amelia, Woody and Amani look promising!
Not sure what is up with Henry’s behavior and lack of communication or if it’s a bad edit? Did anyone catch the 1970’s Samsonite suitcase Brett was using? Cool and MadMen style or old and borrowed from nana |
Definitely strange. I feel like Christina is getting the bitch edit but I feel for her in that it seems like she's putting in real effort to talk and get to know Henry and she's just not getting anything back. Doesn't seem like this was the right show for Henry. Amelia and Bennett and Woody and Amani continue to be my faves. Miles is also great and I think Karen is just going to take some time to open up (I see them similar to Deonna and Greg). |

Henry would have been better matched with Olivia, and Christina with Brett
I’m enjoying this show so far |
|
Henry’s father giving the toast was so cringeworthy. His female friends were all b$tchez! Christina does not seem at all into Henry (don’t blame her) and she also seems like a total downer. She got anxiety watching other people have fun at the bachelorette party.
Miles was about to play himself talking about her being older. He cleaned it up though. Lol Woody is a mess!! 😂😂 |
| Amelia needs to comb her hair. |
Yeah, why do the "experts" do this kind of thing? Henry said he liked petite women, and Christina is tall and not petite. I don't know about the bitch edit. I think she might really be a bitch. Did you see when she asked him about his friends, and in the middle of his answer she blurted out (twice!) that she'd forgotten to put on earrings? And he just shut down. She seems very self absorbed. Also, his dad is horrible. I was appalled that Christina LIKED the dad. This doesn't say anything good about her character. I think Henry is the way he is because of growing up with the abusive, attention-grabbing a-hole that is his dad. I'm hoping Christina won't start treating Henry like his dad does. I love Amelia and Bennett. I think her own dad was a stay-at-home parent, so she won't mind that Bennett is not career-minded. I can see them raising a happy, talented, eccentric family. Although he says he doesn't want kids. |
| Bennett didn’t say he didn’t want kids, he said he didn’t want biological kids, he’s open to adoption. Olivia said she didn’t want kids. |
Dude that’s Trishelle from real world!!! |
I recognized her as soon as he said Trishelle. https://www.google.com/amp/s/people.com/tv/real-world-alum-trishelle-cannatella-made-surprise-appearance-on-married-at-first-sight/%3famp=true |
| Read that the wedding was delayed for hours so they went across the street to a bar; explains why they were so trashed. |
