Deal or no deal island (Boston Rob) spoilers

It's the last episode, so Rob was going to be gone anyway, win or lose. I can't see how they renewed this for another season and how they will find somebody else who can keep our interest. The show is pretty lame, and I only watched it because Rob was on it.

I agree, the show is not that interesting, and I don't plan on watching another season of it. It only kept me watching because I wanted to see what Rob would do every week. You have to admire how he never gives up. But I don't admire how he cheated, on purpose or by accident. That is just wrong.

I saw somewhere else, perhaps Reddit?, that Deal or No Deal Island was shot with an entirely different cast right after the pandemic but it got terrible test audience scores. So they went back to casting and reshot it with the inclusion of a big name - Survivor Rob.

If that's true, what will they do for next season? Are they banking on people tuning in to see Rob & getting hooked so they come back next season? Or will they repeat the formula and case one big name ex-reality star each season?

And if they go with casting one big name reality star, you KNOW next season is going to be Cirie Fields.

Cirie can't bring in fans like Rob can. I can't think of anybody who could bring life to another season of this show. That sounds interesting, that it stunk before they brought Rob on.

As soon as Rob done I am done. His penalty was way too much. So I turned it off after 30 seconds.

I was rooting for Rob too, but he was being paid $100,000 just to be on the show and I’m curious if he wasn’t “allowed” to win and was just there to keep the audience turned in. Because looking at the other girl’s number didn’t make any sense.

I only watched it because Boston Rob was a contestant. Won’t bother to watch it anymore.

No surprise ending. Rob was out. Amy and Jordan in the final two. And in true snake fashion, Amy was shaking the rope trying to get Jordan to fall off so she could pass her up. That didn't work and Jordan was the winner. It was cool to see Howie Mandel as the banker, but he couldn't pull off the sneakiness and cunning that the banker has. Jordan was adorable at the end showing her baby bump. But I thought the finale was pretty boring and slow. I'm done watching this show.

I stuck it out, but this show is awful. The dramatics and dragging things along, the episodes could air in 20 minutes.
