Maybe they need the witnesses because he is not able to speak English?

Ok, xenophobe. Are you the racist PP?

Once again DCUM proves how racist white mommies are. The driver speaks English and is cooperating. The passenger on the other hand....interesting how there's nothing about him and how he may have contributed to the accident. This was the passenger's fault. Probably got in a fight with the driver about where to go or drop him off.

How do you know the passenger was at fault?

On a different note than the current conversation for this thread, I saw a post in a large Facebook group that an off-duty EMS responder/fireman was nearby and ran into the building, pulled people out from the rubble, and got about people out just in time before the fire blew up and engulfed the place. Hero!

unless he speaks Navajo I’m sure they can find a translator

It can be difficult to find a translator for Mongolian. That comes up more often in Arlington than you would think.

Cops have an online translation service idiot.

By online I mean the can call them 24x7

And it can take them a few hours to find a Mongolian translator. It's best to schedule in advance with the language line for obscure languages. While you can call them 24x7, it can take time to find a qualified translator.

This is DCUM. PP CLEARLY KNOWS EVERYTHING.

If alcohol was ruled out it definitely could be a medical event.

Or possibly a branch fell out of a tree, the driver dodged around it, and the branch was destroyed in the restaurant fire. Or it was a boulder.

Lady what are you talking about? This happened over 3 days ago.

Why hasn’t the passenger spoken out? Are they still hospitalized?

No boulders or large trees in Courthouse. Perhaps he was dodging an electric scooter, angry biker or pedestrian glued to their phone.

More likely the driver was on his phone.

There's several large trees along Wilson Boulevard in that area. They had to switch to permeable asphalt around the bases.

He wasn’t driving on Wilson. He was speeding on Courthouse literally by the courthouse and Bayou bakery. Tons of construction going on there.

Because car crashes are non-events to media and police in almost all cases. Why would the passenger speak out? Who would they speak to?

Internalize this: the outcome is going to be that the driver made a mistake and it was an “accident.” there will be no repercussions- maybe a speeding ticket.
