Vulnerable during transfer if it’s completely hatched. |

My 3 months old daughter was a 5 day hatched embryo. My clinic (Dominion) even requires assisted hatching (basically cut a slit on the embryo) for women over 35.
Hatched embryo has a better chance of implantation because it is more grabby. The embryo looked like a tadpole, with the ball of cells and extended "handle" that would become placenta. |
| Holding my 3 week old son who started as a hatching blast once thawed. |
| Both of mine were hatching. ( 2 separate, successful FETs almost 3 years apart) I think SGF assists with hatching if it isn't on it's own. I was told it was great that they were hatching. Good luck! |
| My DD was starting to hatch at transfer - the embryo was halfway out of the Zona Pellucida in the photo they gave me. My DS was completely hatched at transfer. Good luck!! |

8 year old twins. One was hatched, the other was not.
Any time one of them is being particularly wild and energetic, my husband and I look at each other and say “THAT must be the one who was hatched!” |
