It first happened on Saturday. They changed my password and the email address associated with my account, Fortunately, I got a confirmation email immediately, so I was able to cancel their changes right away.
It happened again today; the same person also quickly changed my profile name. Same thing, though—I got an email, and I changed everything back. I noticed it was the same person with the same email address. Since I learned my lesson, I added Google Authenticator as a two-factor authorization. (I’m supposed to get a text, too, I think.) Hopefully, that stops the person. Anything else I should do? |
| after a couple attempts. I'd delete all your credit card information and any other personal info and cancel the instacart account.. then reopen a new account with a new name. ect.. |
It’s Instagram, not Instacart. No cc info on Instagram, but I appreciate the sentiment. |
| Is it someone you know? Otherwise, why would some random stranger bother to do this? So weird. |
It IS weird! ...and annoying AF. No, I don’t know the person. It’s probably some bored idiot. I decided that if they somehow get beyond my two-factor authentication, I’ll deactivate my account for a while in hopes they find someone else to harass. |
