MacBooks at Costco

| Are the MacBooks sold by Costco made specifically to be sold at Costco (like, is there something missing from them versus a MacBook bought at the Apple store). If they are the same, are the models sold at Costco older models? I ask because I am having trouble matching up the exact models sold on the Costco website with those shown online at the Apple Store. |

| Older or base models. Costco has the most recent MacBook Air, but the cheapest model. Otherwise I think they have a lot of discontinued models (eg 12” MacBook). It can be a good deal, though I *think* it can be initially time consuming to update to the lates OS (but I’m not positive) |

| No, they are the same but you get an extra free year warranty. They have both new and older models. Just bought one a few months ago from them. |
