Where to get Alphabet or star-shaped pasta?

Anonymous
I visited Whole Foods, Giant and Safeway in Tenley/Friendship Heights today and no one carries pasta shaped into alphabet letters or small stars (stelle). Are these not made anymore? Any clues?

TIA!

I've bought the small stars at Harris Teeter in Arlington and I'm almost positive I have bought alphabet pasta at Trader Joe's but it was larger in size.

I've bought the "pastina" at Whole Foods in the baby aisle.

I got mine at Wegman's.

I'm pretty sure I found alphabet pasta at either Safeway or Giant (think it was Giant) recently. I do remember having to really, really look for it, as the box wasn't clearly marked with alphabets or anything (and maybe it was either up high or down low).

Same with star-shaped pasta.

Pastina are tiny stars - very very tiny, so maybe not what you're looking for.

But Giant has alphabet pasta - it's Giant brand in a blue & white box.

Just wanted to chime in that I checked my box of alphabet pasta and it is in fact Giant Brand, so I had to buy it from Giant. The box red, white and blue (but almost a pastel red and blue).
