How much do you pay for Verizon FiOS in DC area?

We are paying $140 for 1 gig of internet plus 1 landline, no cable.

Just want to price compare and make sure we’re not overpaying. What are other people paying?

$54.99 for 100mb. It was $39.99 for a year prior to this.

I have the same plan but am paying $120. There's some discount that expires next year sometime so that will go up. That's the problem with comparing. Some new customers are under discounts that expire in one year or two years.

I think it's the best internet service overall. I'm going to check out that 100 mb plan. It's fast enough for us.

Don't know the speed, but a bit over $80 per month. That includes a booster upstairs that is around $10 per month. We did not want any 2 year plan so this is monthly full price.

$102/month (including taxes) for internet (75/75 I think) and landline. We bought the router for $200 so no router rental fee in that. Also I think that includes $10/mo discount for letting them pull the $ from my checking account each month.

Im out in Fairfax. I just looked at my bill. It comes to 94.99 for gigabit internet, custom tv and news and voice unlimited bundle. Then there's $12 HD Set box fee x1. Free multiroom DVR x1. $24 in taxes and fees. Total $131.

It used to be $20 cheaper but the 2 yr contract expired in August. I was pleasantly surprised they didn't jack my bill $100 like they have in the past. This was the first year I didn't have to call to try to negotiate/cancel. Maybe they've learned their lesson??

You are overpaying. We pay $175 for internet (fast, they keep upgrading us for free), land line, premium cable with multi-room DVR plus 2 boxes.

I pay $85 a month. I have two TVs working with iptv boxes https://www.infomir.eu/. The set-top boxes have a built-in wi fi module. We often watch movies, concerts in excellent quality.

Check out Ubiquiti's network bandwidth requirements. If you're sold on 5 million petabytes of data per second, you are probably just throwing money at an ISP's bottom line that you don't need to. There comes a point at which no more speed will.speed up things. But a zillion Give sounds good, so you'll.pay the premium.

We have gigabit Internet, custom TV, landline. Base price is $79.99 and then all the junk taxes and fees bring it to $118. Bought the router so no rental fee, and they did include multi room DVR.
